Spelts Roofing was established in 1969 by Clayton “Pete” Spelts and has been a family-owned and operated business ever since. After 53 years of service, Pete retired in 2022. Josh and Jessica Freeman acquired Spelts Roofing and are committed to maintaining the high standards of quality and service synonymous with the Spelts name.

Josh Freeman brings over 22 years of experience in Roofing Supply distribution to his role at Spelts Roofing. His longstanding professional relationship with Spelts Roofing facilitated the transition when Pete decided to retire. The Freeman family seized this opportunity to return to their roots in Northeastern Colorado.

Josh, originally from Iliff, Colorado, spent his childhood in Northeastern Colorado. Both he and his wife, Jessica, are graduates of Northeastern Junior College (NJC) and Colorado State University (CSU). Their shared ambition after graduation was to return to their small-town origins. This aspiration was fulfilled in 2022 when they moved back, bringing their two daughters, Julia and Josie, along for a life in a close-knit community.

The Freeman family is dedicated to operating Spelts Roofing as a reliable roofing service provider in Northeastern Colorado. Our commitment to exceptional customer service and superior workmanship remains unwavering. We approach every project with the same level of care and attention that we would apply to our own home.
